A group of students visited St Pius X and St Nicholas of Tolentine this month to run a range of activities focused on climate change. Laudato Si (On Care For Our Common Home) is the new appeal from Pope Francis, addressed to everyone across the globe to encourage an inclusive dialogue about how we are shaping the future of our planet and impacting upon climate change. St Brendan’s CAFOD students have fully embraced the challenge and have enjoyed working with primary school children to get them thinking about how they can have a positive impact upon their environment. The students have led quizzes, recycling challenges, and art classes to engage young students and involve them in the very important mission.
