This year, St Brendan’s is thrilled to have chosen The Stroke Association as their chosen charity; with all money raised throughout the academic year being donated to the fantastic organisation.

The SU put on a packed programme of events throughout the week, which included bingo, video game competitions, nail painting and staff cake sales. To support the charity and the well-being of the St Brendan’s community, students and staff could also receive free blood pressure checks throughout the week.

Each year St Brendan’s is proud to select a charity to support, and this year The Stoke Association was voted to be the leading College charity. The Stroke Association delivers stroke services across the UK and campaigns for better stroke care, they also invest in research and fundraise to support as many stroke survivors and families as possible.

With fundraising events continuing throughout the month after being cut short by the snow, we are still seeing the total fundraising number grow from the kind donations from students and staff and can’t wait to share the final figure after the half term break!
