Students from across College enjoyed the annual winter Careers Fair last week.
Students talk to NHS representative
St Brendan’s welcomed over 30 different companies to exhibit at the fair and ambassadors were on hand to give advice and information to St Brendan’s students about the many career paths they can take when graduating from College. Exhibitors included Airbus, Dyson, the NHS, the Army and a fantastic range of universities. Over 1000 students visited the fair throughout the day to find out more about the exciting careers ahead of them.
“It’s great to see so many varied organisations here” commented Sam, a first-year student. “I have just been speaking to the representatives on the Army stand and they gave me lots of advice for applying and what I could be doing now to help make me a stronger candidate to join the Army. It’s great to hear directly from those in the industry and I’ve found it really inspirational to talk to them today.”
