Open Evenings
Come and speak to the experts!
Throughout the year, we hold special Open Evenings where you can meet with College staff and some existing students, gain information and seek advice. Further discussion about course choices and combinations of courses will also take place at interview. Many students visit us on more than one occasion - sometimes on all Open Evenings. Dates for 2009/2010 are as follows:
There are no more open evenings this year, but if you would like to visit us please contact the College.
Advice and Information Evenings:
- Thursday 29th April 2010 5-8pm
We also welcome visits from prospective students (and their parents/carers) at any time during the year to tour the College during the working day. All we ask is that you telephone to arrange an appointment.
St Brendan's Sixth Form College is the only College in the region that specialises in the education of sixth formers. We offer:
- A huge range of AS/A Courses and vocational courses at Level 3, Level 2 and Level 1;
- Examination achievements that are consistently high;
- Individual support and guidance;
- A wide range of social, sporting and cultural activities;
- There has been a major investment (around £20m) in accommodation and specialist facilities at St Brendan's. All curriculum areas benefit from specifically designed, purpose built facilities. Further investment has been made in equipment and technology ensuring provision is at the 'cutting edge'. This makes St Brendan's an ideal place to study.
- 100% accessibility for wheelchair users;
- Subsidised transport and hardship grants;
- All facilities are on one pleasant site;
- The Catholic College for the Community.
We think we have a lot to offer our students but you needn't take our word for it. The Good Schools Guide visited St Brendan's after we were nominated by other schools. Here is our entry in the Good Schools Guide.
