26.10.20: We have today notified staff, parents and students of a confirmed case of Covid-19 at St Brendan’s. Student and staff safety is of paramount importance to us. We have stringently followed government guidelines and are working closely with the Public Health Team and the college will be open after our October half term break.

After studying at St Brendan's, I went on to higher education at the University of Hertfordshire to study Paramedic science and training to become a Paramedic and then further into a HART Paramedic role (Hazardous Area Response Team).

I am currently studying my degree and really enjoying the hard work and variety of it. St Brendan's provided a learning that allowed you to have more freedom and responsibility over your own education; a great setup for the higher education model.

The Sports course at St Brendan's is very much like university study with the assignment based learning. I have found it has greatly benefited my higher education learning, even if I didn't go into a sports-based career.

The staff were lovely and always there for you if you needed a little extra support, which was excellent. The advice I would give current students is to set manageable goals, you have to take little steps to achieve big things.

Hopefully, in the next 10 years, I will be apart of the HART as an Advanced Paramedic Practitioner for the London Ambulance Service, after completing a Masters in Advanced Paramedic Practice.
