Money Matters

Financial assistance may be available to help with the costs associated with studying at St Brendan’s.

The 16 to 19 Bursary Fund is a government funded scheme to help support young people who face the greatest financial barriers to education. Each bursary award gives consideration to individual student needs.

Bursary funding may be awarded for travel to college, compulsory course costs (such as trips or kit) and Free College Meals.

If the combined earned income for all adults in your household is less than £23,000 per year you may qualify for financial support. We won't include any benefit income apart from Universal Credit. We will need to see evidence of earnings and benefits.

Applications for bursary open to new students in August, following college enrolment. We don't accept applications for bursary before you have enrolled but will be happy to answer queries, email us bursary@stbrn.ac.uk
