INFORMATION RE A-LEVEL RESULTS DAY FOR STUDENTS:

Dear Student

Congratulations on completing your recent examinations and your final BTEC/OCR assessments.  We hope that the next few weeks will provide time for relaxation and also preparation for celebrating your final 3Y2 results.

We will be here to celebrate your achievements with you on the 16th of August. You will be able to collect your results from Café Max from 8.00am and to use our post examination results service. We are encouraging all of our students to come and pick up their final results, since this will enable you to access the support available in contacting universities with regards to confirming offers, adjustment or clearing.  Please ensure that you come fully prepared, with your UCAS reference number, personal statement, phone numbers for your universities and any other ID and reference numbers you may require.

You should check the UCAS website on the morning of the 16th as this may already confirm whether you have achieved your first choice university even before you receive your results. If you are unable to collect your results personally, you can ask someone to collect them on your behalf. This is only an option if this person brings in a letter of authorisation signed by you and some form of personal ID. We cannot allow others to act for you without this letter and there will be no exceptions. If this is your intention and you are relying on certain results for a university place, please ensure you make contact with this person immediately so you can obtain your results.

In addition to supporting you with confirming your next steps on such an important day, we will also be able to offer support with applying for a review of marking or a clerical re-check should this be necessary. We will be able to advise you on whether to obtain a photocopy script before requesting a review of marking, etc.

To support you with your next steps, we will be offering the following support surgeries to students.

Thursday 16th August:        8.30am – 4.00pm

Friday 17th August:             9.00am – 4.00pm

Monday 20th August            9.00am – 2.00pm

We look forward to seeing you on the 16th of August and celebrating your success with you.
