Friends Max Ata-Amonoo and Eghosa Ilade battled through setbacks to reach their ultimate goal of higher education, after three years of hard work.

The pair both joined College on the Access to Level 3 programme, designed for students who need to retake their GCSEs and build their skills before progressing onto A-levels. After taking a year to secure their grades, the friends progressed onto their A-level and Level 3 Applied General courses.

It was good news for the duo today, with Max achieving three Distinction* in Sport and Business and Eghosa thrilled to receive two Distinction* in Applied Law and Business and a C in German.

After three years of studying together, and with fantastic results behind them, the pair are now set to go their separate ways; Eghosa will be studying Law at the University of Sheffield whilst Max will be studying Business Management at UWE.
