The first round consisted of 2, 1 hour, multiple-choice papers taken online by the students. Congratulations to Jordan Pinsker who achieved a Silver award and to Idriss Kamtcheu and Joe Pusey who both accomplished Bronze awards. These students were part of the 34% who achieved prizes and will be invited to attend a Society awards ceremony later this year.

Dr Andrew Treharne MBE, Chair of UK Biology Competitions said “The standard of entries was as high as ever. Many congratulations to all those students who have been awarded medals and certificates.” We look forward to hearing all about the awards ceremony!
