As part of their marked exam, Subsidiary Diploma students told the story of Blood Brothers; set in Liverpool (a very tricky accent to master) they performed a nature versus nurture plot which revolved around twins Mickey and Eddie who were separated at birth and later become best friends. During the production there were lots of excellent solo and duet songs and the many dramatic scenes were acted with incredible maturity. The St Brendan’s students worked tirelessly to produce a performance which was highly engaging for the large audience.

After a short interval, guests returned to the theatre to see the Musical Theatre Diplom students’ performance of their Variety Show. This high-octane show which was produced from scratch was a perfect mix of drama, laughter, soulful singing and comedy skits.
