During the first week they screened “Half of a Yellow Sun” and delivered a drama workshop, both of which embraced African culture. On Wednesday 12th we welcomed alumni Hari Ramakrishan to speak about faith and then screened one of Bollywood’s highest grossing films to date, “Diwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” on Friday.

The second week saw food in Café Max reflect the different continents and we welcomed workshops for Capoeira dance and an interfaith Q&A panel enabling students to ask questions to various people representing different religions. Finally, we ran a European Languages speed course for students and mapped our diversity via fingerprints on our world map to show our origins and celebrate our diverse community.
