Public Services Level 3 Diploma students recently took part in a climbing session at Undercover Rock, a rock climbing gym in St Werburgh’s, Bristol.

The climbing centre is housed in an old converted church and includes 12-metre climbing walls, pillars, fins, overhangs and arches, plus a bouldering area.

The students were taught different climbing techniques and then given the opportunity to climb a variety of walls ranging from easy to extreme. At the end of the session they got the chance to play on the ‘bouldering’ wall where they (and Chloe their teacher) were challenged to climb to the end of the wall without ropes! It was a great day out and we learned many new skills.
