The first and second year students gathered in the Theatre and were quickly captivated by the guest speaker, who has an impressive collection of work and achievement behind him.

Dr Stephen Law was a lecturer at Heythrope College, London, and is currently the editor of the Philosophy journal Think, a tri-yearly publication which provides its diverse readership with accessible and engaging writing by philosophers pre-eminent in their fields. Law is also author of The Philosophy Gym and The Philosophy Files; both well-acclaimed books within their field!

The inspirational visitor delivered a full day revision master class to his teenage audience and spoke to students about ethics, philosophy and God; covering topics from both first and second year courses. As second year students quickly approach their final summer exams, the session was hugely informative and helpful. Meanwhile, first year students, who are about to take the step up to their final year at College, found the talk incredibly motivational and informative.
