We were lucky enough to welcome to College St Johns Ambulance crewmembers last week, as part of the day; which encourages as many people as possible, adults and children, to learn CRP. Hosted by our very own Chemistry teacher Nicki Shaw and joined by a fellow St Johns volunteer, the pair led multiple sessions throughout the day and were supported by two St Brendan’s students who are also Cadets.

The free, hands-on sessions guided staff and students through the process of CPR and how to use a defibrillator safely. With the help of many dummies (or Resuscitation Annie’s) groups were able to run through true-to-life scenarios and put their knowledge to the test!
