All houses were represented and the gallery was full of cheering fans. As well as being fantastic fun, nearly £60 was also raised for Charity Week. The standard of play was impressive and even a staff team of Vicki Haigh, Paul Ryan and Tina Dean competed.

After many exciting games, Team 4 (Cormac O’Callaghan, Abdi Farah and Yakin Choudary) battled Team 29 (Jay Delatorre, Sultan Malik and Jacob Hale) in a tense final which ended a 6-6 draw. After 1 minute of extra time it was Team 29 of Scott House who won the sought-after trophy.

Congratulations also go to the winners of the women’s tournament, Team Cook (Jennifer Phillips, Shanae Douglas and Pauline Gitahi). The girls played in a competitive round robin, which showcased the success of the women’s basketball sessions that the Sports Department have been running.
