The informative session was hosted by Dr. Ian Burrows from Bristol University, who teaches university students modules such as ‘Approaches to Shakespeare’ and ‘Shakespeare’s Sonnets’. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn from a cutting edge academic in his field, share personal views on the topic and ask questions. It was also a fantastic taster of what university life and lecture-style learning will be like for all those planning to progress to university. St Brendan’s students gave the event really positive feedback and contributed to the debate with great insight.
