The event was organised by the Association of Colleges and brought together a range of college representatives; with students working together to solve maths-based problems, themed around the TV show Top Gear. Natalie Shears and Hannah Rumble both took part in the event and even won prizes for their work. The students were judged not only on how successfully they solved maths problems, but also on their communication and teamwork skills. Congratulations to Natalie who was on the winning team and also won herself a spot prize of £10, for her contribution to one of the tasks. Both students enjoyed the day, learning some valuable maths and employability skills along the way.
