The aim of the day was to visit an exemplar university, where Languages are taught in joint honour degrees with Politics, International Relations and Business. Students received sound advice on career paths and attended workshops which discussed areas such as the future of the European Union and globalisation.

The day ended with talks from different ex Modern Foreign Language university students who have very varied and interesting career paths, including management of cruises, working to defend the rights of women and working for Facebook.
