The five St Brendan’s students who have gained offers to attend Oxford or Cambridge Universities met with two very interesting Alumni members last week, who provided great insight into life at prestigious Russell Group Universities.

Students Juliet Garcia, Kira Clements, Dan Harris, Alex Ford and Jay Staker have all secured places at Oxbridge and enjoyed meeting with Sandy Kilpatrick and Katie Tomlinson. Sandy Kilpatrick went on to study Chemistry at the University of Oxford after St Brendan’s, and is now a Junior Research Fellow in Chemistry at Wadham College, Oxford. Katie Tomlinson went on to study Life Sciences at Imperial College London, and is now studying for her PhD at Bristol University.
Both of the Alumni provided the five students with great advice and shared their experiences and thoughts of Higher Education.
