The Bristol-based charity offers an emergency night shelter for homeless people and rough sleepers.  Funded and ran purely through volunteers and donations of funds and food, the shelter offers 18 beds to homeless people 5 days a week, as well as bathrooms, showers, a kitchen and laundry facilities.

During an informative and humbling trip, the students were given a tour of the facilities by trustee and volunteer Sarah, who explained the many ways in which volunteers help the homeless in Bristol.

The students kindly took donations along with them and made 40 packed lunches to be distributed amongst homeless people.
