This year, the group of 28 St Brendan’s representatives were a part of the 82,000 students who sat the paper, which consists of a set of multiple-choice questions. The students achieved some remarkable results, winning 2 gold, 7 silver and 10 bronze awards. Alex Ford (pictured left) and Dan Harris (pictured above) did particularly well in attaining the 2 gold awards, and as a result were invited to join the top achieving students in a further competition called the Senior Kangaroo, where they both achieved impressive merit awards.

The silver awards went to Year 13 students Harry Roddick, Harry Everett and Kira Clements and Year 12 students Tom Lear, Tommy Matthews, Kajetan Champlewski and Sarah Whipp.

The bronze awards went to Leo Fernandez in Year 13, and Willow Gibson, Jack Flowers, Eleanor O’Leary, Aaron Woodman, Jack Gallop, Ash Sood, Richard Henry, Anisha Kochar and Billy Ford in Year 12.

Congratulations to all students who took part in this highly challenging competition!
