Second year student Joseph recently worked with BBC Journalist David Garmston and took part in a discussion about the upcoming election. The discussion focused on the views of 6 young people from the city, who are all eligible and have registered to vote and footage will be broadcast on BBC Points West this Friday (6:30pm) and on Sunday Politics West on Sunday (10am). During the debate, Joseph, 18 from Stockwood, was asked what issues were important to him and how he was planning to vote. Naturally, the conversation turned to Brexit and Climate Change; the two most important issues for the young group, which are swaying voting. Overall, the conversation was balanced, with 2 students planning to vote Conservative, 2 voting Labour, 1 Liberal Democrat and 1 undecided. Make sure you catch Joseph in action this weekend!
