A large group of students attended the SU Hustings last week, and had the opportunity to meet the candidates who are running for Students’ Union positions.
The three candidates running for President
The meeting began with the current Students’ Union discussing and reflecting on their year and what they have achieved. This was followed by the candidates for next year’s SU pitching their ideas and talking about what they would bring to the positions. There was a range of very interesting and passionate pitches from all of the candidates and it was exciting for the first year students to think about the year ahead of them. Voting is underway in Café Max - results will be announced on 22nd April at 8:55 in B207!
