400 St Brendan’s AS students attended the UCAS convention held at UWE.
Students looking at a prospectus
Joining other first year students from around the South West, they were able to find out about the courses on offer at over 160 universities; meeting representatives from a wide range of different institutions and getting to know what life would be like as a higher education student. They also had opportunities to attend informative seminars on subjects such as gap years and student finance.
Students found the visit very helpful as they quickly approach their second year of A-levels and embark on their university research- they also enjoyed collecting the numerous freebies on offer!
