Children and Families Duty and Assessment Team
The Duty and Assessment Team provide the first point of contact if you need to talk to someone about a child or young person, or request a service from Children's Social Care. Our team help any children aged 0-18 years old and their families in need or who are at risk of harm. Our aim is to promote the safety of children, and to put families in touch with services that can meet their needs and make a positive difference in their lives. We offer advice to anybody who may have concerns for their own children, or anybody else’s children that they believe are having difficulties, or are at risk of harm.

Disabled Children's Team
If you would like to speak to the team about a disabled child, the Disabled Children's Team is available to provide advice and support to families in BANES.
