Congratulations to the three St Brendan’s students who were shortlisted for the 2015 Bristol BME awards; Michelle Udoh for Leadership and Tibaba Adeniyi and Idriss (Richy) Kamtcheu for Educational Achievement.

They received their awards at a big event at the Trinity Centre where they were in the company of other young people who have highly achieved across a number of sectors and categories, plus Police Chiefs and Commissioners, two Mayors, university dignitaries, Councillors, etc.!

During the evening it was announced that Michelle had won the overall award for BME Young Leader for the City and Idriss had won the BME Academic Achievement award for the City. Ruth Pickersgill (Assistant Vice Principal) attended the awards ceremony with the students said “I was so proud of them all, we are very lucky to have them as our students.”
