Come and join us for extracts of 'Machinal' by our Year 12 A-level Drama & Theatre students and 'Little Shop of Horrors' performed by our Year 13 Diploma students.
Machinal
This is a set text of study for the A-level Drama & Theatre students who will write about this play in their final exam. Based on the true crime story of Ruth Snyder in 1928 that shook a nation, Sophie Treadwell’s 'Machinal' is a journey of a young woman pushed to breaking point by the relentless machinery of life, expectation and convention.
Little Shop Of Horrors
Our year 13 Diploma students will perform extracts from this famous musical which follows the story of a hapless florist shop worker who raises a plant that feeds on human blood!
