A group of 25 students who are interested in further study in sport, visited the University of Gloucestershire last week, to discover what it would be like to do a degree in sport.

The University of Gloucestershire
The group comprised of the Sport and Leisure Career Academy students, along with BTEC Level 3 students. They attended workshops in Biomechanics & Physiology, Pedagogy & Physical Education, Sports Management & Sociology, Sports Therapy, and Strength & Conditioning. The taster sessions were hugely informative and provided great insight into the sort of subjects the students would be studying at the university.
The group had a tour of the campus and at lunchtime, enjoyed playing wheelchair rugby, glow in the dark sports and cheerleading! All students enjoyed the day and found the sessions hugely informative.
