What are Taster Days?
We are running our Taster Days on Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th June.
We invite Year 11s who have accepted an offer to study with us in September, to come along for the day and experience a typical College day and understand what life is like as a College student.
The day is structured so you will have 3 lessons, 1 in each of the main subjects you have chosen to study. At lunchtime, you will have the opportunity to find out about the range of enrichment activities, College gym, sports enrichment, Aspire and Duke of Edinburgh Award.
We are encouraging students to sign up to these clubs and societies in advance so we can add them to your timetable. You should bring appropriate footwear for the outdoor courts and we have included this information on your Taster Day invite.
You will receive a personalised Taster Day invite a week in advance which will have all your timetable for the day and rooms. We will have staff around all day to direct you to wherever you need to go.
It’s a brilliant opportunity to get to the know the College more, where to find things and also meet key people who work here including your teachers.
