Settling in Review

As part of our commitment to parental/carer engagement, we are delighted to invite you to our Settling in Review event. This will be held on Thursday 19th October 9am to 4pm and is open to all parents/carers of students, of all year groups, at our College.
The purpose of this event is to allow you to talk with subject teachers, progress tutors and inclusive learning key workers (where applicable), to discuss how your young person is settling in and progressing at St Brendan’s Sixth Form College.
How will appointments run?
All appointments with subject teachers and progress tutors will take place via Teams video calls, which will be arranged through your young person’s Teams account (teacher/progress tutor will contact you at the time of your appointment(s)).
How do I book an appointment?
How to book appointments with your young person’s teachers and progress tutor will be advised to you shortly, with the booking system going live at 10am on the 4th October.
It is usual that appointments are completed with your young person present, in order to access their Teams. Please be reassured, if you are at work on this day and unable to be with your young person, we can still arrange meetings via your personal email. Details about this will follow in future communications.
Please note that the College will be closed to students on this date and that students will be set work to complete remotely. Further details regarding this will be communicated nearer the time.
