St Brendan’s students and staff have joined other colleges, schools, parishes and individuals across the country in raising funds for the Ebola crisis appeal, to help stop the spread of the virus across Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea.

The money will be distributed by CAFOD to help their church partners continue the vital work of educating people about the risks, to provide essential hygiene kits and washing-stations, and to ensure that burials are carried out safely.

A cross college collection was carried out last Friday which raised a total of £317.76 and further collections and fund raising events are planned for the coming weeks.
