Our Language Centre is a vibrant hub of linguistic and cultural exchange.
Our language teachers are highly-qualified and very experienced and are all experts in their fields at this level of study. A Level language results are consistently very good.
Our students combine languages with a variety of other subjects and many of them go on to study at some of the most prestigious universities. They all leave us with very fond memories of their time with us and are very often keen to keep in touch. Some of them come back to visit to talk to our students about their further experiences of study and work, even volunteering to help out with speaking practice for our current students.

Luca Hargitai
Luca Hargitai (2015 – 2017) (French, Psychology, Maths, EPQ). Luca is currently studying Psychology at Oxford University.
Benjamin Llewellyn (2016 – 2018) (Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, Spanish). Ben decided to take a Gap year after he finished his A levels in 2018. During this year he has volunteered to help out our current students with their Spanish speaking practice. As from this September he will be reading for a degree in Neuroscience at the University of Manchester.
Nathalie Hope (2015 – 2017) (Law, German, Graphic Communication, EPQ). Nathalie is currently at Exeter University doing a degree in German and Law. This year she will be spending her year abroad at a prestigious Law school in Hamburg.
Maeva Kamtcheu (2016 – 2018) (French, Sociology, Applied Science). Maera is currently doing a degree in Midwifery at the University of Leicester.
Jessica Clarke (2016 – 2018) (Law, Psychology, Spanish). Jessica is reading for a degree in Law at the College of Law
