College nurse

The College Nurse supports student health and wellbeing at St Brendan’s and works alongside safeguarding and pastoral teams where appropriate.

The College Nurse offers advice, guidance and support for students whose health or wellbeing may affect their experience at College.

The Nurse may:

  • Provide health advice and information
  • Support students in managing health needs during College life
  • Signpost students to external health or wellbeing services
  • Work alongside safeguarding or pastoral staff if concerns arise

Information shared with the College Nurse is handled sensitively. Where a safeguarding concern is identified, information may be shared appropriately with safeguarding staff in line with College procedures.
