Lessons combine clear explanations, practical examples, exam practice and guided independent work. You’ll work through real scenarios so you can see how accounting applies to everyday business situations.

Your final grade is based on three written exams at the end of Year 2. Each paper focuses on a different area of accounting:

Paper 1: Financial Accounting

Paper 2: Management Accounting

Paper 3: Analysis and evaluation of accounting data

You’ll have regular assessments and feedback throughout the course so you always know how you’re getting on. This qualification is very literacy based and therefore students should be confident and prepared to be writing essays.
