A Level Further Mathematics is designed for students who are highly motivated and passionate about mathematics. The course develops advanced mathematical knowledge and problem‑solving skills beyond standard A Level Mathematics.

It is taken alongside A Level Mathematics as a fourth subject and leads to a separate qualification.

College library with mathematics materials

Online learning resources and software tools

Students may need to purchase textbooks (approximately £100 if not accessing digital versions)

Optional purchase of a graphical calculator (recommended Casio fx‑CG50)

Financial support may be available through the College bursary scheme.

This course must be taken alongside A Level Mathematics and as part of a four‑subject study programme.
