Chaplaincy

A welcoming space for reflection, community, leadership and belonging - open to all students, of all faiths and none.

Our Chaplaincy sits at the heart of College life. It is a space where every student can find support, explore meaning, celebrate diversity, build community, and take part in activities that promote wellbeing, faith, justice and hope. Whether you identify as Catholic, belong to another faith tradition, or have no faith background at all, you are warmly invited to get involved.

What the Chaplaincy Offers

Our Chaplaincy provides daily, weekly and termly opportunities for students to connect, reflect, lead and serve - helping us to grow as a compassionate, inclusive and hope-filled community.

Support for Catholic Students

As a Catholic College, we also provide support for students wishing to:

  • prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation
  • access the opportunity for sacrament or reconciliation (Confession)
  • speak with the Chaplain or with Father Thomas, our College Priest
  • explore what it means to live their faith as a young adult

Catholic students - and their families - are warmly encouraged to reach out.

Meet the Chaplain

My name is Marek and I am the college chaplain. I am a lay chaplain, which means I am not a priest. Building community is at the heart of my vision for Chaplaincy and I work together with Father Thomas to help you explore and grow spiritually. As a chaplain I am here to help you answer questions about life and spiritual things, supporting you to find your place in the world. Through enrichment sessions, retreats and leadership opportunities I hope to elevate your College experience and support you on your journey to becoming mature young adults.
