After leaving St Brendan's I secured a part time job in retail while I looked for a permanent position. In December 2013 I got a Graphic Design apprenticeship at Wessex Garages.
Securing a promotion at Wessex Garages has been my biggest achievement so far. I am the lead graphic designer of Wessex Garages, which is a nationwide car dealership. Having my work sent to thousands of people all across the UK feels great!
My advice to current students is not to worry, the subjects you study at College don’t define what you can do in the future. I took Psychology, Business and photography, and I am now a lead graphic designer.
If I were to change anything about my time at St Brendan's it would be to revise more for my Psychology exam.
In ten years’ time, I hope to have started my own, successful graphic design company.
