What are Taster Days?
We are running our Taster Days on Monday 22nd June and Tuesday 23rd June.
We invite Year 11s who have accepted an offer to study with us in September to come along for the day and experience a typical college day and understand what life is like as a college student.
The day is structured so you will have 3 lessons, 1 in each of the main subjects you have chosen to study. At lunchtime, you will have the opportunity to find out about the range of enrichment activities on offer as well as sports enrichment, the Aspire Programme and Duke of Edinburgh Award.
We are encouraging students to sign up to these clubs and societies in advance so we can add them to your timetable.
You will receive a personalised Taster Day invite a week in advance which will have all your timetable for the day and rooms. We will have staff around all day to direct you to wherever you need to go.
It’s a brilliant opportunity to get to the know the college more, where to find things and also meet key people who work here including your teachers.
